€0.00

In 2015, as part of the Design & Built contract for the Red Line South, the QDVC Joint Venture (Qatari Diar / Vinci Constructions) commissioned OOAU to support their design and procurement teams in the development of the designs of the 5 stations for that section of the Doha Metro network.

Previously, between 2012 and 2014, Nuno Almeida led the team that created and envisioned the concept for Architectural and Landscape Branding Manual for the Doha Metro, as a Director at UNStudio.

The Branding Manual was the base of all 35 stations of the new network that were designed and built in record time between 2013 and 2019.

For the Red Line South, OOAU services encompassed the design review of the architectural and landscape Construction Documents, design development and detailing of some public areas, computational programming of shop-drawing and 3D-fabrication models production of customized decorative patterns and pieces, advice on materials and supplier selection, review of mock-up construction designer’s and supplier’s documents and shop-drawings, and design site supervision of the 1000 m² mock-up.
